Fakir-Ahiru - Milkshake Date

Princess Tutu fanart! Featuring... well, you know by now, don't you? XD

I know I said I was going to be uploading old sketches and stuff, but I did a sketch on a prompt a friend gave me and I liked the sketch so much that I wanted to ink and color it. So I did.

And this is the result~! It took 18+ hours of coloring with my mouse and wearing my gdamn wrist and hand brace, but I like to think it was worth it for the hard work I put into it.

The concept was simple enough: Sharing a milkshake. But I thought Fakir would be embarrassed, so he's not leaning in for that straw just yet. And it became a 'date' once I dressed them up a bit (yes, that's totally dressy for Fakir, torn sleeve and all, lmao). It was a lot of fun to do, though, over all. And there were three backgrounds originally, but I didn't like the blue at all and it was between peach and yellow. I went with yellow. (And enjoy by doodle-d background. LOL)

Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this! It feels good to do some solid art that I'm proud of again.

This was sketched on paper, inked, scanned, and colored with Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
