Hey, look! I'm still alive! *cough* Anyway, yet moar Princess Tutu fanart. Featuring my 'raven' versions of Fakir and Ahiru, chibi-ed.
Remember way back when...say, probably almost a year ago or longer--when I posted sketches of Fakir and Ahiru in "Raven" forms? Well, I felt the urge to draw them again. But instead of just leaving them in sketch form, I really wanted to color them, since I don't have any fully-colored pieces of the two of them and I never really tried out color combinations and such.
As you can see (if you remember the old sketches I posted of them), their outfits and such changed a little bit. I've been tweaking things around and seeing how they work out. I'm not entiiiiirely sure of this color combo (they kind of scream "Christmas" with the red and green), but it turns out Ahiru looked better with the red than she did with the magenta-ish color or the purple (they didn't go as well with the gold, particularly the latter). I thought of giving Fakir gold trim and tried that out, but he looks better with the silver, so I kept him with that. As for the eye colors, like it was in the show for Rue and Mytho, I made their colors differ a bit. I figured Fakir was raven-ized a lot earlier, so his are pretty solid red, while Ahiru's are more of a pink-ish toned red.
Anyway, these designs are still not completely set in stone, but all in all, I'm pretty happy with them. As for Ahiru's boots--it was brought to my attention when I was sharing the sketch for this piece elsewhere--that she should have toeshoes for dancing. But I liked how the boots accented the outfit. Anyhow, when she dances or whatever, I imagine she magically gets toeshoes to replace the boots or something. XD;
Well, I know it's been awhile since I had colored art to share, but I hope you enjoy it!

Fakir and Ahiru are not my characters. They belong to Itoh Ikuko. But their raven-ized versions were thought up and designed by me, so please don't use them for anything. Thanks!
