Princess Tutu fanart for Valentine's Day. Featuring...well, by now you don't even need the names, do you? XD

I decided I would definitely get a V-day fanart done, since I never finished those two Christmas ones I had sketched and planned (and likely never will finish them XD; ). And as it turns out, the original funny idea I had for this just didn't work out. I couldn't get the snow to look right falling on Fakir's head (why yes, he had bad luck with timing), so I went with something sappy and cute, instead.

No, Ahiru did not suddenly grow very tall. XD; She just jumped up and used his shirt to pull her face to his just long enough to give him a peck on the cheek. And of course, Fakir would be quite surprised, I imagine, hence his expression. XD ...Would you believe I spent two hours just fixing Fakir's eyes and brows? For some reason, they just weren't looking right. :/ Even now I think his expression still isn't what I was going for, but ah...I spent enough time on this. If I kept working on it, I'd never be happy with it anyway.

The BG is totally half-assed. I was going to do an arch like they have over the Academy dormitories, with red roses. But after spending so much time fixing things, I just decided to throw some hearts around. XD;; I had fun with the shading though, if you couldn't tell. I always over-shade. It's part of my style. XD And clothing folds are always fun. Oh! And you might notice...Ahiru's braid looks very much like a braid here, instead of the weird way it looks in the anime. XD; I did her hair the way I wanted to, so pff.

So um...yep. XD; Sappy Fakiru-ness ftw! ^_^
