Description

Princess Tutu fanart. This one is just of Fakir.

I wanted to do Fakir in a ballet pose. In a costume. And although the pose is kind of lame, I'm happy with the rest of it, overall. I also used airbrush-style coloring for this as well. It's a lot easier on my hand than cel-shading. XD; Even if it's a little lack-luster.

Anyway, I guess Fakir is in some kind of prince-ish attire. With lots of puffy sleeves, which I think I overdid. XD;;;

That's about it. I liked the affect of the airbrush with this one, though.

Enjoy!

This was sketched, scanned, and then colored in Adobe Photoshop 6.0.

Fakir is not my character. He belongs to the wonderful Itoh Ikuko and HAL Films.

The art, however, is (c) to Amako-chan at Deviant Art. Please do not reuse or reupload without permission! Thanks!

I love puffy sleeves! Ironically, while super puffy sleeves are now associated with royalty, they were originally invented by Renaissance mercenaries as a way to more conveniently wear lots of fancy fabrics they plucked from dead bodies.
