Second in the set of four plushie pictures for selected Princess Tutu characters.
This one features Ahiru and her two plushies: Fakir and Prince Mytho.
Caption:
Ahiru has two plushies: One of Fakir and one of Prince Mytho. She has discovered, however, that Mytho Plushie has suicidal tendancies. When he's not falling out of windows or into the fountain in the courtyard, he somehow slips right through her arms. She keeps him in her dorm room more than taking him outside. As for Fakir plushie, he gets out more often. Unfortunately, that too causes problems for Ahiru. Pique has tried "borrowing" him on more than one occasion and Lilie constantly teases her about the plushie, gleefully taunting her with the possibility of telling Fakir himself about her beloved plushie miniature.
(You won't understand the suicidal Mytho bit unless you've seen the series XD ...Or I guess the rest of it, for that matter. )

Sketched in pencil, penned, scanned, and colored with Photoshop.
Again, I went for simple coloring and I don't care about the bleeding (they're just meant to be fun pictures). As I will follow the same coloring pattern for the last two, as well. Airbrushing and paintbrushing is kind of fun. XD Nice break from solid cel-shading.

Hahaha, "suicidal tendencies." Yeah, just a little bit. XD He does like tempting the fates by jumping to his death a lot. This is so adorable, I love the look on her face. <3
HA HA! Love the Mytho part. ^^ Awesome picture. I've just finished up watching the entire anime today. Not a lot of people draw Princess Tutu fanart I've noticed.
Unfortunately, most people see the title of the anime and run away in fright. -_- But, oh well. They miss out. XD And yeah, not too many people do art for it. That's why I figured if I wanted to see some, I'd have to draw it myself. <_< But the inspiration from PT just doesn't stop...so I just keep going. Wish more artists would. >_<
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
