Surprise, surprise. More Princess Tutu fanart, from yours truly. Featuring Fakir and Ahiru. But this time it's Raven Fakir. :D

This was originally just a sketch in a big pile of sketches I posted on the LJ comm awhile back, but my favorite of the bunch, so it gets ink and colors first. XD

I'm generally pretty happy with how this turned out. I think the sketch might have looked a little better in some ways (such as for the hands), but it was an interesting pose attempt to color. And for this piece, I thought a background of some sort would really add to the feel of it, and since I believe the plain white took away from it, I went with darker colors. I think the thing I'm the most displeased with his Ahiru's outfit. I really need to work on clothing, lol. I tried many different colors for her dress and ribbons, but ended up sticking with the light blue, since I think it looked the best.

Anyhow, this was sketched on paper, penned in, scanned, and colored with Adobe Photoshop 6.0~!

*-* ah, the colors look great, and both Ahiru and Fakir look gorgeous. Ahiru has a lovely expression and with her hair down and the light colors of her dress she looks very pure and gentle, almost like an angel. I didn´t notice it was Raven Fakir until I readed your comments, he looks so handsome and protective of Ahiru. They kinda look like a couple coming from a Greek tragedy.

You did an amazing job in coloring this!

And I think the color of Ahiru's outfit is fine!
But I understand that choosing certain colors for clothes can be difficult and can make or break the overall look of the picture. (I've had that problem myself.)
But really, it looks great!

Thank you! :D I'm glad that you think so! I thought Ahiru's dress was fail, but I'm happy to hear it doesn't distract too much from the picture overall. And a greek tragedy? XD That's an interesting way of looking at it!
