Colored version of that Princess Tutu Fakir/Ahiru fanart in Matsuri Hino (Mangaka of Meru Puri and Vampire Knight)'s style.
I did this one in an airbrush and color-bleeding soft style, which is very different from my normal coloring style, but more fun and free. ^^ I really wanted to contrast the dark and light colors between them, because it really suits the characters' personalities and differences. (That and Fakir just looks better in darker colors, as Ahiru looks better in bright/lighter colors. In my opinion from an artistic point of view. >>; ).
Anyway, nothing too special. I was still trying to take it easy on my wrist (I've had this colored for quite awhile, but I never got around to submitting it. XD;; And I still have more old sketches to upload) but this was very fun to try and just be aware that I know there's plenty of color bleeding. XD;
Sketched on paper, scanned, colored with Adobe Photoshop 6.0~
Hope you enjoy!
Fakir and Ahiru belong to the wonderful Itoh Ikuko and are not my character, but still my ultimate OTP. <3

I always end up taking a more green route. XD He has various scenes in the anime where you can tell it's green. But most of the time, it does look very dark/almost black.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
