Another Princess Tutu sketch and while still one of my older sketches that I'm uploading, it's one of the newer ones (only about a month old). (And yes, I still have more to go yet. XD; )

Features Fakir and Ahiru (big surprise), in a garden of some sort (probably out on the Academy grounds somewhere). Ahiru is happily singing with her little bird friends. Fakir, passing by for whatever reason, stops to listen but doesn't actually turn around to make his presence known.

Yeah, I don't know why I thought of that. XD; I can definitely see Ahiru harmonizing with her little bird friends, though. And I called it "Avian harmonies" since...well, Ahiru is technically a bird, too. XDDD Anyway, this took up a full sheet of drawing paper and I tried a little different type of shading than my normal style (think it's better, worse? No difference?). But since I actually did a background for once...I smudged up my hand pretty bad. XD; (You can probably tell from the left side of the drawing where it's unusually dark. I couldn't quite erase all the smudged areas).

Well, I thought it was a cute idea and I like how Fakir's odd expression turned out. XD ...Please don't mention Ahiru's hands. XD;;; I know my hands still need lots of work. And aside from that...

Enjoy? ^^;

Fakir and Ahiru are not my characters. They belong to the wonderful and talented Itoh Ikuko.

:giggle: How cute. I really like the shading. I think it has a manga-ish shading to it, especially the hair.
You cannot help but love Fakir's expression. So cute!

Thanks! ^^ I had fun trying a different style of shading for once, with a lighter feel. I think it was more fitting for the mood of this piece, anyway.

Fakir's expressions are just so fun. XD Especially when he's being a dork.

Ha ha, Fakir, you're so in denial. XDDD Which makes it twice as cute!

I like the shading on this, it is different from your usual, but it's still great. The background is awesome too! :D

If olive oil is made with olives and peanut oil is made with peanuts, then what's baby oil made of?

Lol XD That he is!

Thanks! ^^ I know this type of shading is a little more scarce, but I wanted a lighter feel to it, anyway.
