Fakir-Ahiru - Victorian Era

Heeeeeeey guys. Long time no see, huh? I'll be trying to put up some old art, since the few newer pieces I have done in the past few months are very lack-luster.

But yes, here's some Princess Tutu art. This was from this past year's Secret Santa exchange on the Tutu LJ comm. My giftee said they were very picky and really liked AU, so...

I ultimately went with Victorian Era, featuring Fakir and Ahiru (her favorite pairing). I did a lot of research, since I was paranoid that my giftee wouldn't like it or something if I winged it too much. Anyway...

Ahiru's dress and hair went through quite a few phases, but I went with this overall (she's probably borrowing it from Rue. Hahaha). Also, I was originally going to have them both looking all sophisticated like aristocracy would be, but I thought it would be more fun to have Ahiru be more IC. I don't think she'd ever be able to manage those huge dresses. XD

Also, I couldn't resist putting Fakir in a top hat once I saw that was part of the male fashion back then. And he also gets a pimp cane.
