Fakir-Ahiru - Hand in handby *amako-chan

Princess Tutu fanart, as almost... always. XD And featuring a couple that is no stranger to my deviations: Fakir and Ahiru!

Now, tell me, who recognizes these outfits? Huuuh? XD Yeah, that's right. This is the older, sexy Fakir from a deviation of mine awhile back, along with the 18-year old Ahiru. They're in the same RP now where I play the Fakir with a friend, so I wanted to draw them together.

This is basically my attempt at trying to capture the motion of walking - or in Ahiru's case, some kind of cheerful hop/run. I'm not sure the feet perspectives are perfect, but I gave it my best shot, anyway. And d'aww, don't they look pleased to be in each other's company? (Yes, that's as close as Fakir will get to smiling without actually smiling.)

Anyway, I used my new-ish style of coloring on this, which I kind of like. It's not as solid as my normal and not as flouncy and pastel-ish as the airbrushing. Kind of an inbetween, you know? And I thought I would submit this recent art as a break from sketches. Hope you don't mind!

Fakir and Ahiru are from "Princess Tutu" and belong to the wonderful Itoh Ikuko and HAL Films.

I love you Fakiru work, and also your stuff with just Fakir. I could look at Fakir fanart all day. xD I jealous that you've found a good roleplay partner for this genre. I never find anyone that has even heard of it.

Thanks! It's a softer coloring than the solids I usually work with. I'm not sure which I prefer.
